It's almost time to start planning your next trip to one of Downtown Atlanta's most adored attractions.

The largest aquarium in the Western Hemisphere is about to get even larger with the addition of tens of thousands of square feet. The beloved home to unique marine life including whale sharks, beluga whales and dolphins announced plans in late March for a revamped entry and new gallery that will be completed in late 2020. The Georgia Aquarium will continue to be open for guests through construction, and a temporary entrance will be used starting in September 2018.
